About This Program

Make movies that make a difference. Combining 16mm filmmaking craft with high definition (HD) digital techniques and tools, this program immerses students in the history and practice of making movies. Students learn to communicate through the unique language of cinema and leverage its power to question, provoke, educate, amaze, and change. Students work collaboratively to create meaningful and artful short film projects that will be showcased publicly by the end of the course.
