Course Description

This course offers students an insider's look at the illustration industry. Students gain the tools necessary to illustrate professional-level assignments, while developing their own cohesive style. Students refine their interpretative and technical skills to define their projects in their desired media. The final creation can be a potential portfolio piece(s). Students can work with the traditional or digital tools of their choosing. Adobe Illustrator is welcome for assignments but will not be taught in the course. Prerequisite: Students should have basic drawing skills.

  • Learn how to communicate a good, provoking idea through conceptualization
