Course Description

Knowledge of the brain and brain functioning has advanced significantly in recent decades, through advances in cellular and molecular biology, neuropsychology, and neuroimaging. This course provides an overview of how neural activity produces our perceptions of the world, behavior, cognition and memory, and our emotional life, as well as how these processes are affected by psychoactive substances and affect mental health.
