Course Description

Apply conceptual skills to learn foundational skills using industry-standard software like Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, and Premiere Pro. Students will research, write and refine concepts, create text-based and sketched storyboards, then apply the concept to transform the work into finished animated clips.

Course Length - Online 9 weeks

  • Hands-on skills creating motion graphics in After Effects
  • Basic and intermediate skills using After Effects

  • Real-world process and industry tips from working professional faculty

Prerequisites

Students are encouraged to have completed or be currently enrolled in  PCDD 0330 - Storytelling with Motion Graphics and Animation prior to taking Motion Design 1 with After Effects.
