Course Description

In this course, participants learn how the sounds of English are produced and how to describe them to English language learners in order to diagnose pronunciation difficulties and increase intelligibility. Students will learn how to create various types of classroom activities designed to help English language learners practice English sounds within a communicative framework. This online course meets synchronously weekly via video conference on Mondays, 6:00-800pm EST.
