Design for Non-Designers

This course teaches students how to create tangible ideas from material gathered during research and to bring these ideas to live. Students will master how to test their designs before implementation and how to design without prior visual design skills. This is the fourth course in our Design Thinking in Practice Certificate.

Programmatic, Mobile, and Native Marketing

Students will examine the pros and cons of various media, how they relate to each other and data optimization, and how it all comes together to form a campaign. This course applies towards the Digital Marketing Certificate.

Immersive Scenario Planning

This course leads students through the construction of contextually relevant scenarios that take into account the objectives of communities, organizations, or industries. Students create projections of desirable and undesirable future characteristics in various scenarios. This course counts towards the Futures Studies and Speculative Design Certificate.

Dimensions of Social Justice in Design Industries

This course focuses on the many areas of social justice as it comes up in the design industry. These include racial, gender, economic, and environmental justice.
