Introduction to Hospitality Interior Design
Learn how to combine ambiance, color psychology, and branding to create a cohesive hospitality experience. This course applies towards the Hospitality Interior Design Certificate.
Healthy and Sustainable Affordable Housing
This course provides students with an understanding of the critical relationships between building materials, chemical toxicity, and environmental exposures that directly impact human health. Students learn to prioritize human health, utilizing existing tools and resources within the context of the building material ecosystem and larger environmental issues.
Learn 3D modeling techniques using Rhino 3D, a modeling software program applicable to design fields including architecture, sculpture, and interior, furniture product, and jewelry design. Class projects help students learn the fundamentals of digital design along with skills such as turning digital models into physical objects using laser cutting, 3D printing, and CNC milling. This course applies towards the Interior and Architectural Design Software and Interior Design certificates.
With this course, students gain a practical understanding of AutoCAD while learning the basics, including drawing, editing, dimensioning, output, and presentation. This course applies towards the Interior and Architectural Design Software and Interior Design certificates.
