Summer Intensive Studies 2022 Pre-College Open Studios Recap

July 14, 2022

At our recent Summer Intensive Studies Pre-College Open Studios, students presented their work to friends and family and displayed their creations in classrooms around campus. We loved learning the stories behind our students' projects as well as seeing the culmination of their hard work. Our on-campus pre-college Summer Intensive Studies 2022 courses included Painting, Fashion: Styling, Illustration: Beyond the Page, Architectural Design Studio, and more. Explore a few of our favorite Open Studios pieces below.

This project was inspired by the similarities between brain cells and galaxies, as researched by Italian astrophysicists Franco Vazza and Alberto Feletti. In the words of the artist, "the good thing about having a creative mind is that whenever I'm going through something difficult, I can make art about it."
