The New School Continuing and Professional Education is so excited to have participated in the 2022 Adobe Max Conference!
We had a blast connecting with New School alumni and supporting Parsons community members. This year's conference featured several Parsons faculty speakers, including designer and animator Nol Honig and creative type director Charles Nix, as well as presentations on industry trends and recent innovations in Adobe Creative Cloud and graphic and digital design.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there were 265,000 jobs for graphic designers in 2021. U.S. News & World Report notes that Graphic Designers have an above average upward mobility, with greater opportunities for advancement. This year, TNS Continuing Education is offering a variety of graphic and digital design course offerings, including 3D Modeling Fundamentals, Graphic Design History, Interactive Typography, Web Design Production, and more! We are also proud to offer several certificates in these areas.
Our Graphic and Digital Design Certificate focuses on skills in concept, type, layout, color, and industry-standard software. In addition we offer certificates in Motion Design and Animation, Illustrated Journalism and Memoir, Infographics and Data Visualization, Product Design, and User-Centered Design. Our certificates are project-based and provide opportunities to connect with experienced faculty who are at the forefront of their fields.
